I just spent the last few days falling in love. Man, I feel good. And it shows. (You saw my Karma Kitchen picture, right?) After one month apart, my BF and I finally had the chance to skype (him alone and me alone, in our respective rooms) for longer than 6 minutes. He had been in 1 degree weather in the field with no communication for a week and this felt terrific. He showed me pictures of me that he had put up. And the phrase absence makes the heart grow fonder is definitely true. We were looking at each other like it was our first date in Summer 2009. That boy is so dang sexy. I see a change in the way he talks too. A kind of confidence that is only associated with the way a man talks. It was like I had met someone new. After talking to him, I slept so soundly, had dreams of my home in Costa Rica, and woke up so giddy and full of energy.
