Day 323:To the man that never forgets: I love you

My father is the greatest man alive. No matter the holiday Valentine's Day, Easter, my birthday, or Christmas, my father has never forgotten to send me a card and recognize that he cares about me. Such a little thing, but how much it means to me. Sometimes he sends the wrong cards for the wrong days, or even sends the card at the wrong time, but he always sends them.

My father has always been there for me and will always be there for me. There are times I'm scared and worried that if something was to happen to me that no one would be there to rescue me, sometimes I hope to be surrounded by concerned strangers, but I know my dad would be there as soon as possible.

My dad is the background and the rock to my family. He is the one that makes sure that everything is running smoothly. He is the one that keeps us all together. He secretly goes out to my car and checks to make sure everything is still working and filled every time I go home.

I've put every man that I ever updated up to him and no one has ever made been able to stand in his shadow.

Thanks Dad, I love you.
