Happy Good Friday, everyone. Oh rejoice, for we have a God that would send his son for our salvation. There is no greater love than a man who would lay down his life for a friend! He went through pain and suffering, so that we could be! Oh how we are loved.
Many people use this time to sacrifice something to the Lord, for the sacrifices that He has done for us.
My friend asked me if I was eating fish today. Nope not even. Instead of giving up something bad, I decided to increase my good. I have been taking classes at my church and am now a member. I signed up for missionary group, and have attended Youth (18-34) Bible Study, and I want to help with Wee Worship for (6-11yr olds I think) and also the Choir (really the Praise Team, but if I don't make the audition....I won't be super surprised, though they dont know the important of how strong my background voice is)....What...oh...to the choir stand I go lol.
I have been reaching out in my world, and instead of going out and wasting money, I have been mentoring and working out. (and pretending that I am going out virtually through email, what....it's hard).
My favorite part of the Easter season is the Easter gospel songs:
No Greater Love by the WMA choir
Don't Cry by Kirk Franklin
Now Behold the Lamb from the movie the Gospel (the Tamyra Gray version)
and so many more. Take time to tell the kids more about Easter: the Resurrection than Easter: The Bunny. Even I need a refresher.
God Bless and I love you!
