Day 268: I want your proclamation of love to include Jill Scott: when men don't think your worth it

Dear [You},

I have noticed lately that something has changed. More and more I'm meeting men who don't think that women are worth it. Not for dating, engagement, or marriage. Nothing against us, you say, but women are crazy, or dating giving up too much, or women are too much.

Hmm....
Is it because?
1. I'm used to dealing with younger dudes, (so stupid, you tell me, they fall in love easily and give their women everything, they are p-whipped) and now those dudes have learned their lessons are growing up no freebies and no saying love.
Ans: But odd, the men I went out with previously are generally older than the men I talk to and go out with now.

2. Perhaps it is my current environment in the DMV area
Ans: This seems most likely, lol but do you notice I blame this on everything. I don't know how good I have it lol. Most of the stuff that comes out of guy's mouth is amazing to me and I to them. Men who don't buy drinks, or men who offer to buy me drinks, but don't speak to me, men who refuse to call, but when I see them they are always on the the phone, men who don't call after work hours (lol I know that one), men full of secrets, (I can't tell you where I live), men who are bold with their issues (I mean I live with her, but I'm not with her), men who will ask me for weeks what should we do, but never take initiatives and the best lately...a man (boy) who told me he was on a budget and he should be leaving, but he would see me around, and patted me on the back, good-bye. *I stood there with my mouth open for 5 minutes*

(lol sadly everything in this paragraph happened in a month. I meet men, so I shouldn't complain but geez.)

3. Perhaps due to the economy, the people act crazy, the world has changed.

Ans: I hope that this is the most farfetched. I can't believe this is the reason. Women haven't changed. We are just as crazy as ever. Maybe we are giving it up more, maybe men are having a hard time giving up their independence.

Kind sir, I know what I want. And I'm not giving it up. I may compromise, and I'm learning extreme patience, but I am still a hard, but rewarding experience of a girlfriend.

I want to show you how to love me.
         I want romance.
              I  want compliments.
I want to be showered with love.
And I want Jill Scott to be playing in the background: preferably live. preferably on                               a  vacation trip to see her.

Thanks, LOVE,

Naturally Beautiful Me

Tell him..Charlie, Last Name, Wilson, what we women really want.
