Day 259: Girls ask: Where do I meet men?

Have you ever read something a hundred times and suddenly you read the same thing and it hits you with a realization so hard, you can't believe that you never saw it before?

For some reason, I decided I wanted to meet guys and decided a bar at happy hour might be a chance to meet a bunch of guys. I was wrong. At 26, one fun night at the bar every few weeks is enough. I met some fun people and I have a friend, who goes out once/twice a week, so she came with me. It was fun until I realized the only stories they had were how drunk they got the night before and how hard it was to wake up the next day and mistakes they made. I actually thought it was a coincedence that every time I went I saw some of the same people, until I went to the bar on a Monday instead of my usual Friday, and saw the SAME PEOPLE! They come everyday! They drink everyday.  Kudos to them. BUT not my type of party. Time to seek the next ventures.

I also noticed that I hardly see men from the age of 30-35 out. I asked Boo and my other friend (both over 30) and they said they're getting to the age that they want to get their life together, not party as much, they just want to chill. Yes!! That is what I'm trying to do! Now how do I meet men doing that?

They couldn't help me, or wouldn't....But both mentioned the only girls that they hang out with are girls from their past.

Ugh....I have unsuccessfully not met anyone new so far this spring, I've only gone out with boys I already knew.

Let's hope that I find that place...
