WHEWWWW....Thanks goodness, I got over my frustrated, mind jumbled stage and came up with some solutions of my own. I just wanted to share with my readers two things that helped me really focus on what is truly important.
1. I receive a daily devotional from the Within Network, a group started by a girl that I actually used to mentor in college, who surpassed me in doing amazing things, through faith and belief in following a calling. Below is part of the message:
Areas of confusion about to be reprimanded and removed by peace; feelings of being unwanted, rejection, abandonment eradicated by Love! Speak Father! And He did! He spoke and sang His Word over me (Zephaniah 3:17)! Letting me know that I’m His, I’m good and very good (Genesis 1:31)! That I was created for Him and He’s pleased with ALL that I am (Revelation 4:11 NLT).
And then the remembrance of a night in prayer and His Words to me came to mind! In Song of Solomon 2:10 He tells us, “Come away with me my love...” You are necessary to Me! I need you! No one else can love Me like you do. I beckon and call for you because I need you! You are mandatory to the story of the earth and creation! You are a crowning jewel, My beloved daughter, My heart’s desire, apple of my eye!
Then at the end, it gives a prayer to pray and I just sat there and repeated it, "Help me to know my place in You, Your perspective on and about me. Increase my capacity to receive Your love for and towards me! In Jesus’ Name Amen!"
Beautiful.
2. A very talented guest blogger on my site, was texting back and forth with me and she said this little nugget of gold, "It doesn't really matter because our destinies are coming one way or the other."
Also relatedly, "We're only going to attract and keep what's best and healthiest for us right now."
I slept very well after thinking about both of those statements.
